Vitamin B8 หรือ Inositol เป็นวิตามินในกลุ่มวิตามิน B ที่มีบทบาทสำคัญในการสร้างกรดไขมันและนำไปใช้กับการสร้างเซลล์และการฟื้นฟูเนื้อเยื่อต่างๆ ในร่างกาย นอกจากนี้ Inositol ยังช่วยลดระดับคอเลสเตอรอลในเลือด ส่งผลดีต่อการสร้างฮอร์โมนในร่างกาย เช่น ฮอร์โมนเพศ และฮอร์โมนเอ็นดอร์ฟิน ที่มีผลต่อการสร้างเนื้อเยื่อ โดย Inositol จะช่วยเพิ่มความเร็วของการเจริญเติบโตของเซลล์และการฟื้นฟูเซลล์ที่เสียหาย นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นสารช่วยบรรเทาอาการวิตกกังวลและภาวะซึมเศร้าได้ด้วย
